  • Team 1

    Welcome to Team 1 2025-2026

    Team 1 consists of one Reception class.

    Mrs Page is the class teacher, and the learning is supported by Mrs Gardner.

    Mrs Page is the EYFS leader.

    We work together as a unit and the children have access to activities and experiences shaped by the educational programmes and are set out under the seven areas of learning:

    • communication and language
    • physical development
    • personal, social and emotional development
    • literacy
    • mathematics
    • understanding the world
    • expressive arts and design

    The Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage ..."sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe."

    We keep you up-to-date with progress and development and a valuable part of this includes the use of Tapestry, an online learning journal, which provides an ongoing dialogue between home and school.

    We would love to know what you're up to, you can post on our Tapestry, Facebook or Twitter pages or email Mrs Page at the address below:

    * IMPORTANT *

    In the first few weeks, your child will participate in the reception baseline assessment (RBA). The purpose of the assessment is to provide the starting point for a new measure that will help parents understand how well schools support their pupils to progress between reception and year 6.
