Our Core Values
At Parish, we value each person as they are, seeing every member of our school family as a precious, unique individual and treating them with dignity. Seeking first to understand through the building of relationships, we live in a community of hope. We aspire to enable each person to be a curious learner, inspired to develop the knowledge and wisdom to make the world a better place. We strive to encourage all to fulfil their God-given potential, having a confidence in transformation for the better.

Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT) is a Multi Academy Trust which was set up by the Diocese of Lincoln in 2013 to build a mutually supportive family of academies in Greater Lincolnshire who support each other in providing the very best outcomes for their pupils.

Gainsborough Parish is a warm, happy school at the heart of our community. We offer our pupils a carefully planned, engaging curriculum with an emphasis on our Christian values of Community, Dignity, Hope and Wisdom. There are a wide range of exciting extracurricular opportunities available to them through our Kids Hang Out at Parish Club, and we offer excellent nurture and pastoral support. With strong links with our local community, particularly the church, we make sure our families are closely involved with their children's learning.

‘Staff at the school support not only the child but the whole family and have been true diamonds throughout my child’s time at the school.'
'Pupils behave well. Playtimes and lunchtimes are happy times. Lessons are calm. Pupils listen when asked and follow the instructions their teachers give. '

Our Year 6 children have thoroughly enjoyed our art project this term! They explored photography by using iPads to capture images of natural objects before learning how to edit and enhance their photos using technology. The children then developed their creativity further by creating artwork inspired by photography, including recreations of The Scream and experimenting with their own photo-realistic self-portraits.

The Year 6 children thoroughly enjoyed completing their geography fieldwork study. They had the opportunity to ask members of the public their questionnaires to find out opinions about the changes in Gainsborough Market Place. We were so proud of how confidently and respectfully the children spoke to the public while gathering their research. Ask us what we found out!

With some rainy and unsettled weather on the way, please can we remind all families to send children in with a coat every day. Even when it's drizzly, we still make the most of outdoor play and learning, so having the right clothing helps everyone stay warm, dry and comfortable. Thank you for your support!
