Welcome to The Gainsborough Parish Church

At Parish, we value each person as they are, seeing every member of our school family as a precious, unique individual and treating them with dignity.  Seeking first to understand through the building of relationships, we live in a community of hope.  We aspire to enable each person to be a curious learner, inspired to develop the knowledge and wisdom to make the world a better place.  We strive to encourage all to fulfil their God-given potential, having a confidence in transformation for the better.

Year 5 & 6 – We Need You in School Next Week! We've got an exciting week ahead and don't want anyone to miss out! We will be taking part in a fun workshop with the Mini Police, where we'll be exploring the importance of personal responsibility and how our choices can have a positive impact on ourselves and others. In Design & Technology, we'll also be starting work on our Hand Wire Game projects! We'll be designing our own games, so it's time to get those creative minds working. Have a think before next week: What would make a really fun hand wire game design? Could it have a theme? Tricky twists and turns? Obstacles? Bright colours? We can't wait to see your ideas come to life. Make sure you're in school and ready to get involved!

Like a scene from Chariots of Fire! Our Year 5 and Year 6 children went to Levellings Park to complete their charity run for Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust. The children had fifteen minutes to run as many of the 500 metre laps as they could. The children were absolutely incredible, each and every one of them managed at least two laps and the record is now set at eight laps. Children who thought they might only do a lap did four or five and were so proud of themselves. With numbers on their hands and clipboards to tick their laps off on, it was all very professional and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Our core value of Community really shone through today. The specially arranged fly-past of five military helicopters went down a real treat as well! #ParishProud

The Great Fire of London is the hot topic in KS1 this term and this afternoon we got to see first hand how the fire spread so quickly through the city in the autumn of 1666. It was fascinating to watch the flames spread house by house!
